Rybbit, 12 May – 10 Aug 2026, 6,815 sessions · DataForSEO direct API, 13 markets · crawl 50/50 pages

Connecting real analytics overturned most of the first reading. The site is not invisible: it takes about 625 organic sessions a month across 64 landing pages, and organic is growing, from 409 in May to 655 in July. DataForSEO could only see 13 visits and 5 pages because its database is US-only and volume-thresholded, and 57% of this site's organic traffic is outside the US. The real problems are narrower and more fixable than the first reading suggested: a large, uncatalogued content library with five cannibalising duplicate pairs, no measurement in place, and an international audience nobody is deliberately serving.

00 Corrections to reading 01 what measured data changed

Corrected — traffic

13 organic visits per month → 625 per month

DataForSEO's estimate was low by a factor of about 48. It models traffic from US ranking positions only, so it cannot see the 57% of sessions arriving from outside the US, nor the long tail below its volume threshold.

Corrected — content inventory

21 blog posts → 88 blog posts

The crawl is capped at 50 pages by the current OpenSEO plan, so it caught roughly a quarter of the site. Analytics shows 200 distinct paths. The library includes proper search-targeted work that never appeared in reading 01, such as 10 Best ICT Trading Strategies, Smart Money Concepts Trading Explained and a substantial prop-firm cluster.

Corrected — blog performance

Zero blog posts rank → 18 posts take organic traffic

The blog does work, modestly. /blog/lucid-trading-rules-explained-2026-guide is the strongest single post. The prop-firm content is the most productive cluster on the site, which reading 01 missed entirely.

Corrected — "ranking for competitors' brands"

Half your rankings are other people's tools → Most are your own products

Fractal Model, Forever Model, Seasonal Tendency and Inversion Fair Value Gap are all Toodegrees products, and ttrades fractal model is a collaboration with TTrades, so that ranking is earned rather than accidental. The genuinely unrelated terms are a much shorter list: voodoo lines, bpsr meter, 4dsky points, dots indicator, teach v2 and what quadrant is degrees in.

Corrected — encoded URL duplicates

Live duplicate-URL crisis → Already fixed, index still stale

Space-encoded URLs such as /indicators/Unicorn%20Model took 206 sessions in May and 94 in June, then zero in July and August. They now 301 correctly and the canonical is right. The residue is that Google's June snapshot of the UK and Canada still ranks the old encoded URL, so those SERPs need reprocessing rather than a code fix.

02 The international picture 57% of organic is outside the US

This is the finding that most changes strategy, and it is invisible to every standard SEO tool. DataForSEO returns 21 ranking keywords for the US, 1 for the UK, 1 for Canada and zero for India — yet India is the second-largest organic market on the site with 161 sessions. The rank databases simply do not cover this domain outside the US.

"Reached pricing" = share of sessions that touched /pricing or /checkout. The closest available proxy for purchase intent without revenue data.

Canada is the most valuable market on this site and nobody is targeting it. Canadian visitors read four pages, stay eleven minutes and reach pricing 41% of the time, well ahead of the US on every measure. Canada also has one visible ranking keyword. The gap between how well Canadians convert and how little the site ranks there is the single clearest growth opening in this report.

India deserves a deliberate decision rather than drift. It is the second-largest source of organic sessions and visitors engage properly, but the SMC and ICT demand there skews heavily toward free PDFs and MT4/MT5 downloads, and a $120-a-month TradingView subscription is a hard sell. Treat it as a list-building and audience market rather than a revenue market, and it is valuable. Treat it as a revenue market and it will look like it is underperforming forever.

03 AI visibility now measurable, no longer theoretical

Reading 01 could only reason about AI referrals in principle. Analytics now shows them directly: 21 sessions arrived from AI assistants in 90 days.

Measured AI referrals

ChatGPT9
Perplexity3
Gemini2
Claude1
Unattributed AI6
Total21

Small, but it confirms the reading 01 analysis: Gemini and Claude referrals exist despite Google-Extended and ClaudeBot being blocked, because those blocks stop training, not search-time fetching.

What the block actually costs

Google AI Overviews are unaffected and appear on 13 of the 21 US SERPs where the site ranks. Perplexity and OpenAI's search crawler are permitted. What is lost is recall: a trader asking any model to recommend an IFVG tool without browsing gets an answer from training memory.

Reading 01 argued that cost theoretically. It is now measured, below.

Citation footprint, measured against rivals

DataForSEO's LLM mentions index counts how often a domain is cited as a source in AI answers. This is the hard number the first reading could not produce.

en.wikipedia.org18,918,4002,621,440Control, confirms the index works
US, English. Wikipedia included deliberately as a control: a zero for every domain would have meant no dataset coverage rather than a real absence.

Zero is not a rounding error, it is the whole number. Both direct competitors are cited and Toodegrees is not cited once, on either platform. That is the price of the training block, stated in the only units that matter. It does not make the block wrong — protecting proprietary ICT research is a real business reason — but the trade is no longer abstract. Your decision on 10 Aug 2026 was to flag and not change. Revisit it on a date, not by default.

AI search demand runs opposite to classic SEO

AI search volume for the target keywords inverts the usual long-tail logic. The broad head terms carry the AI demand, and the precise long-tail phrases carry almost none.

The IFVG guide is still the right first move for Google rankings. But if AI visibility is also a goal, the parent term fair value gap is where the AI demand actually sits, at 13x the volume of its own long-tail variant.

04 The content library 88 posts, five cannibalising pairs

The library is far larger and better-targeted than the capped crawl suggested. It also carries duplicate pairs that split ranking signals, and these are the cheapest wins available.

The 136 headline overstates real authority. All 66 TradingView links, 48.5% of the profile, are nofollow and pass no equity. Across the whole profile only 28.3% of referring pages are dofollow, so effective clean dofollow links number roughly 20, not 136. Whop is the quietly valuable source: 15 links, all dofollow, zero spam.

Twelve of 32 live domains score 30 or worse on spam, mostly URL shorteners and redirect hosts. None look deliberately built. Noise rather than danger at this volume, but worth watching monthly. The full referring-domain table now ships in every weekly brief.

Domain rank 126 is DataForSEO's 0–1000 scale. The figure of 20 reported earlier came from a different scale and is not comparable.

The robots.txt bug is confirmed by traffic

Reading 01 flagged two conflicting User-agent: * groups as a theoretical risk. Analytics settles it: /checkout received 18 organic search entries in 90 days, plus one to /welcome. Both are in the disallow list that strict parsers skip, so pages you intended to keep out of search are indexed and taking traffic.

# fix — one * group, disallows declared once
User-agent: *

Robots.txt stops crawling, not indexing. Pages already in the index need noindex or a Search Console removal to actually leave.

All 13 markets pulled directly from DataForSEO Labs, 10 Aug 2026. Five ranking keywords exist outside the US, against 1,077 measured non-US organic sessions per 90 days.

Three of the five international rankings still serve the encoded URL. The UK and Canada both rank /indicators/Inversion%20Fair%20Value%20Gap, and Germany ranks it at #37 alongside the clean URL at #17. Australia has already consolidated onto the clean URL. The redirects are correct, so this is Google reprocessing at different speeds per market rather than a live bug — but it is worth forcing, because Germany shows what the clean URL is worth: #17 versus #37 for the same page in the same country.

You are not blocked by domain strength. You are bringing a product page to an article fight. TTrades ranking #1 for fractal model is also an asset rather than a threat, and a reciprocal link between the collab pages is an obvious unclaimed win.

09 The plan ordered by return, not by effort

Companion document. The July 2026 Keyword & GEO Research report maps the full 125-keyword landscape, the 17 demand clusters, and a product-to-keyword fit table. It has been revised to match the measured data in this reading, and its six recommendations are the content brief behind steps 7 to 11 below. Read this report for what is true now, and that one for what to write next.

Now — measurement and cleanup, this week

  1. Connect Google Search Console. Free, no credits. It is the only source that shows queries by country, which is exactly the gap this report had to work around. Everything below gets easier to prioritise once it is in.
  2. Raise the crawl budget. The plan caps at 50 pages against roughly 200 live. Three quarters of the site has never been audited.
  3. Merge the five duplicate pairs in section 04, 301 the weaker URL into the stronger one. Cheapest ranking gain on the list.
  4. Fix robots.txt with the single-group file in section 05, then noindex /checkout and /welcome so the pages already indexed actually drop out.
  5. Canonical /legal and /legal/privacy to one URL. They serve identical content.
  6. Clear the four compliance items in section 04, including the URL slug that contains the win-rate claim. 301 the old slug.

Next — the content that earns rankings, weeks 2 to 6

  1. Write the IFVG guide. /blog/inverse-fair-value-gap, 2,000 words minimum, built to beat FluxCharts: what an IFVG is, how it forms, FVG versus IFVG, worked chart examples, failure cases. Link it both ways with the product page. It is the single highest-return action available and the only KD-0 keyword above 1,000 volume you already have a product for.
  2. Double down on prop-firm content. It is already your most productive cluster and nothing in the target list competes with it. Extend it rather than starting a new theme.
  3. Extend the "indicator insight" format. /blog/indicator-insight-htf-po3 is the top-performing post on the site. There are 15 tools and only a handful have one.
  4. Build a proper fair value gap pillar. It carries 181 AI search volume, the highest of any target keyword and 13x its own IFVG variant, and the current post is 292 words. If AI visibility matters at all, this is the page that earns it, and the IFVG guide becomes its child rather than a standalone.
  5. Work the concept-explainer hub from recommendation 1 of the keyword research: structured guides for order blocks, OTE, Power of Three and the Unicorn Model, each linking to its matching tool. That report sizes the educational cluster at roughly 2,400 searches a month and it is the largest single demand pool in the niche.
  6. Add contextual internal links. Every page currently carries exactly 12 links, which is navigation and footer only. Each post should link to its matching tool page and two siblings.
  7. Rewrite the 15 short meta descriptions to 120–155 characters, leading with the trading problem rather than the feature.

Then — the international opening, weeks 4 to 12

  1. Target Canada deliberately. Best engagement and highest purchase intent on the site, and effectively no ranking presence. Confirm pricing displays sensibly in CAD, and check Search Console for Canadian queries once connected.
  2. Force reprocessing of the encoded URLs in the UK, Canadian and German indexes. The redirects are correct; Google's snapshots are not. Germany quantifies the prize: the clean URL ranks #17 and the encoded twin #37 for the same page in the same country. Australia has already consolidated, so this resolves on its own eventually — forcing it just gets there sooner. Fix the remaining links from helpcenter.toodegrees.trade, which still point at old encoded paths.
  3. Build the PDF lead magnet for the smart money concepts pdf cluster. Roughly 30 variants, near-zero difficulty, and it converts the India and SE Asia traffic into a list instead of a bounce.
  4. Claim the brand SERP. You own 1 of 20 slots on toodegrees. Three unauthorised review pages rank, at #9 and #17 on sites.google.com and #20 on a Netlify subdomain.
  5. Diversify links away from TradingView, currently 48% of the profile, while the total has fallen from 177 to 133 over twelve months.

Rank and AI data now come from the DataForSEO account directly rather than through the OpenSEO MCP, which bills a separate credit pool and caps what is reachable. Direct access is roughly two orders of magnitude cheaper and exposes endpoints the MCP does not surface at all, including the LLM mentions index used in section 03.

Known gaps

  • No Search Console. Still not connected. No query-level data, and no way to see which queries drive the non-US traffic.
  • Core Web Vitals incomplete. Lighthouse ran on 4 of 20 pages; 16 failed. Two consecutive audits produced no full set.
  • Crawl covers a quarter of the site. 50 of roughly 200 pages, so on-page findings apply only to the sampled set. DataForSEO's own On-Page API has no such cap and should replace it next reading.
  • No revenue data. "Reached pricing" is a proxy. Rybbit goals or checkout events would make market value real rather than inferred.
  • AI mentions are US English only. Given 57% of traffic is non-US, the international AI picture is unmeasured.
