1. What moved

Nothing moved this week. This is the baseline run, the first automated weekly collection. All metrics are set as reference points. Starting next week, deltas will be reported against this snapshot.

2. What did not, and why

No expectations to measure against yet. Noteworthy observations from the baseline:

3. Ship this week

Connect Google Search ConsoleMeasurement

Free, no credits. Only source of query-level data by country. Unblocks the international analysis.

Merge the 5 duplicate blog pairsQuick win

301 the weaker URL to the stronger. Cheapest ranking gain available. See baseline section 04.

Fix robots.txtTechnical

Consolidate to one User-agent: * group. Add noindex to /checkout and /welcome. Currently indexed and taking traffic despite disallow.

Canonical /legal and /legal/privacyTechnical

Identical 1,780-word content on both. Pick one, canonical the other.

Fix or retire the landing-page trackingMeasurement

cta_click has never fired on /exclusive-offer, /exclusive-access or /vip-access across their entire lifetime. Decide whether those pages are live. If they are, the event is broken. If they are not, the funnels are noise.

Conversion

Cumulative since 31 Jan 2026. POST /funnels/analyze ignores date parameters, so these are all-time counts. From next week, weekly conversion is the subtraction against this snapshot.

FunnelPathEnd to end
Purchase Journey / 8,005 → /pricing 2,817 → /checkout 534 → /welcome 93 1.16%
Indicators to Purchase /indicators 4,283 → /pricing 1,780 → /checkout 371 → /welcome 71 1.66%
Exit Popup Email Capture popup_shown 390 → captured 25 6.41%

Four out of five people who reach checkout do not finish. 534 reach /checkout and 93 complete, a 17.4% step rate and by far the weakest point in the funnel. Recovering even a quarter of that gap is worth more this quarter than any ranking move on the list above.

The indicators path converts 43% better than the homepage path (1.66% against 1.16%). Traffic entering through a product page is worth materially more than traffic entering through the homepage, which argues for pointing acquisition at /indicators rather than /.

4. Watch

GB and CA still ranking the encoded URL. Google indexes /indicators/Inversion%20Fair%20Value%20Gap in both markets while DE and AU have consolidated to the clean slug. Germany shows the cost: #17 on the clean URL vs #37 on the encoded twin. The redirects are correct, so this resolves eventually, but forcing reprocessing would speed it up.
